Gynecologic Robotic Surgery (GRS) is an international clinical journal providing the latest knowledge and techniques in gynecologic robotic surgery. This journal is an official journal of Society of Korean Robotic Gynecologic Surgery (SKRGS) and Asian Society of Gynecologic Robotic Surgery (ASGRS). The first issue of this journal was published on March 2020 with the first paper of ASGRS consensus guideline on robotic surgery in gynecologic cancer. Continually several review series were issued about endometriosis, myomectomy, adenomyomectomy, and cervical cancer. Many of original articles were submitted from all around Asian countries. We are also proud our video articles that showed the exceptional performance by the robotic instruments. It is very worthy to watch and follow the procedures.

From the beginning, many of researchers have made effort to advance of our journal as a member of editorial board. Without the devotion of Professor Chi-Heum Cho, who was the first editor-in-chief of GRS, such an advancement was not accomplished. As a past president of SKRGS and current president of ASGRS, he successfully hosted a couple of international gynecologic robotic surgery meetings as well as national meeting of Korean society.

From March 2022, it is my privilege that take over the role of editor-in-chief to me. I am very honor to serve in this board but feel the responsibility deeply. I clearly state that GRS could make a more progress and provides up to date information and resources to all gynecologic surgeons who wish to develop their robotic performance.
